Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread – Bread Baker’s Apprentice

Oops.
That’s about all that can be said about that.
It’s a beautiful loaf – sparkly with sugar and studded with nuts and raisins. By every appearance it was going to be delightful. But one bite, and I knew something was wrong.
I’d forgotten the salt.
What should have been sweet and chewy was just bland and made of sawdust. Ah well. With a little extra salt in the batter, I’m sure it’ll make fine French Toast.

Well it sure looks great. You will have to try it again sometime.
Have fun,
Susie
